There are 3 new widget sections in the footer, and the sidebar is updated to allow a wide widget area, two narrow areas, or both! In the theme options page under the Appearance menu, you can choose to have the wide sidebar on the top or the narrow one. The widget areas will accommodate commonly used ad sizes as well.

The navigation menu uses the Menus functionality, so you can customize it however works best for you.

Snappy Theme is a unique design using the jQuery Masonry plugin which “arranges elements vertically then horizontally according to a grid.” The result is a gap-less layout even if you have varying post heights.  Options include:

  • 4 color schemes to choose from and if none of them quite suit you, there is a section in the theme options panel where you can enter your own CSS to change the colors.
  • Upload your own logo in place of the title/description
  • Optional widget area below header for advertisement, welcome, social media, subscription, etc.
  • Widget sections in header, top right of “snapshot” pages and footer large enough for standard ad sizes.
  • Posts and pages can be 2 or 3 columns.
  • Archive, Category and Tag pages may either be displayed using the “snapshot” layout or a standard thumbnail/excerpt layout.
  • Sidebar is wide enough for a 300px ad, and if using the 3 column layout, the left sidebar is wide enough for a 160px ad.

It was my site design at RandaClay.com for a while and the pretty bright colors in the theme just made me happy every time I looked at it!

There are 5 different color schemes available, 5 widget areas, layout shortcodes, and a theme options panel. The theme supports custom menus and featured thumbnail images as well.
